The City of Greater Sudbury’s annual compost giveaway takes place on Saturday, May 27 at the Parkside Centre, located at 140 Durham St. in downtown Sudbury.
A limited quantity of bagged, unscreened, finished compost will be available to residents at no cost on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of one bag per household.
The giveaway will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or while supplies last. This event is part of the City of Greater Sudbury’s Organics Program, launched in 2009.
