Police, riders tour Island for Torch Ride

Greater Sudbury Police Service hosted a Torch Ride today to support Special Olympics athletes in Ontario. The event saw officers, GSPS motorcycle operators and qualified motorcycle riders take a scenic tour from Sudbury to Manitoulin Island.

Greater Sudbury Police Service hosted a Torch Ride today to support Special Olympics athletes in Ontario.

The event saw officers, GSPS motorcycle operators and qualified motorcycle riders take a scenic tour from Sudbury to Manitoulin Island.

“The Torch Ride is a fun and exciting fundraising event that will raise money to provide quality sports and training programs for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability,” the police service said in a news release.
