Sudbury police looking for witnesses to hit-and-run collision

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the vehicle and identity of the driver involved in a Thursday afternoon hit and run with a pedestrian.

The Jan. 19 incident took place at the intersection of Paris Street and Cedar Street in Sudbury at approximately 5:25 p.m.

A dark-coloured SUV was involved in the collision with a pedestrian, which resulted in a 44-year-old person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. 

The dark-coloured SUV was seen travelling north on Paris Street toward Lloyd Street when the collision occurred. 

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or was driving in the area and may have dash camera footage of the incident is asked to contact Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171.
