Ontario March of Dimes’ outreach medical services are getting a $45,805 boost from the province.

The March of Dimes' Northern Medical Clinics provide an essential service and rely on specialists who volunteer to travel to communities across Northern Ontario providing consultation, assessment and surgery follow up care to residents, said Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci.

“Northerners have benefited greatly from the quality care these outreach clinics provide to remote communities,” said Bartolucci.

“This investment helps to ensure residents get the care they need in their own communities and minimizes their need to travel and incur costs for doing so.”
