Greater Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger recently paid a visit to the virtual Grade 5-6 classroom at École St-Dominique.
As part of their social studies program, students in Gilles Richer’s class are learning about the many responsibilities of the three following levels of government in Canada: federal, provincial and municipal.
Mayor Bigger answered several questions and discussed with students the roles of municipal government, as well as the responsibilities of being mayor.
“Students are appreciative of Greater Sudbury Mayor for taking part in this lively and interesting conversation,” said a press release from the school board.
