Random Acts of Kindness: Watch as we've got a big bloomin' surprise for Auntie Sue

This retired florist smiles through the tough times, so our wagon of kindness is loaded up with goodies just for her

Welcome to the eighth day of Sudbury.com’s Random Acts of Kindness, supported by @homeEnergy.

Today we are meeting a very special woman to our nominator Jessica Harris.

Jessica nominated Susan Semenzin (also known as Auntie Sue) who she said always has smiles and love to give despite adversity. Susan is a dedicated mother, aunt, grandmother and godmother. When Jessica lost her mother years ago, Susan was there with love and support.

The past few years have been challenging for Susan as she battled colon cancer and learned a new way of living after losing most of her vision. Despite this, Jessica said Auntie Sue continues to smile and be strong for the people in her life.

So when Jessica told us that Susan used to be a florist and that she loves flowers, we thought what a better way to spread kindness than by filling Suan's home with the scent of flowers.

Watch as we bring a smile to this woman with a wagon full of blooms and other goodies.

Each weekday morning leading up to Christmas, Sudbury.com will recognize a deserving person, family or organization with a random act of kindness.

Visit Sudbury.com tomorrow morning again for another act of kindness.
