The City of Greater Sudbury is urging residents of Sudbury, Coniston, Wahnapitae, the western portion of Garson, and Markstay to avoid unnecessary use of municipal water until further notice.
City operators are currently performing work at the Wanapitei Water Treatment Plant. Residents in the above noted areas are asked to temporarily avoid washing cars, windows, laundry and any other water use that is not absolutely necessary.
The city will issue further bulletins as information becomes available.
