Warning signs removed after latest water quality testing

The Sudbury and District Health Unit has removed the signs that advised against swimming at the Whitewater Lake Park Beach in Sudbury.

The most recent water samples taken at the beach are within acceptable bacteriological water quality standards for bathing beaches, the health unit said in a press release.

The health unit takes routine water samples every week during the summer from 33 local beaches. For information about beach water quality, visit www.sdhu.com.
