Capreol's Santa Claus Parade is tonight:

Capreol's Santa Claus Parade and Tree Lighting takes place Saturday evening. The event starts at 5 p.m. with a candle walk from the Northern Ontario Railway Museum to the Cenotaph, where carol singing will be led by the Capreol Community Choir. The Tree Lighting will follow, along with horse-drawn wagon rides courtesy of Wagon Wheel Ranch.

Shuffle on over to College Boréal for fun run and elf walk:

The Salvation Army Santa Shuffle fun run and Elf Walk is today at College Boréal. Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30 a.m. for the run that starts at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Salvation Army’s Sudbury New Life Centre, Men’s Hostel, Cedar Place, The Women & Family Shelter, Sudbury Community & Family Services. Wolves take on Colts at Sudbury Arena:

The Sudbury Wolves will wrap up the second half of back-to-back games with a Saturday night date with the Barrie Colts. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. Be sure to check back with Sudbury.com for photos and a game recap.

Downtown a paradise for art lovers this Sunday:

The latest Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl takes place this Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The art crawl is a grassroots, pedestrian-friendly cultural experience for the city in and around the downtown core. It features artists at venues such as art galleries, artist studios, businesses and organizations. 

Skate with the Wolves this Sunday: 

The Sudbury Wolves will be hosting their annual Skate with the Wolves at the Sudbury Arena on Sunday Dec. 4 from Noon - 1 p.m.Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for the Sudbury Food Bank.  The entire Sudbury Wolves team will be on-hand to sign autographs and take pictures

Highway traffic may be disrupted on Manitoulin Island:

If you're heading to Manitoulin Island this weekend, there's a potential for traffic delays. The Manitoulin Detachment of the OPP is advising motorists to be aware of potential traffic delays on Highway 6, at Whitefish River First Nation on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1-5 p.m.

It will feel al ittle cooler out there on Saturday as the high will only reach 3. Mix of sun and cloud with a chance of showers.
