About 1,500 children's books were donated over the past couple of months through the Share a Book campaign.
The yearly campaign is run by Cambrian College students in the early childhood education and upgrading programs.
People were invited to drop off book donations at local libraries.
Since 2010, the Share a Book campaign has put more than 10,000 donated books in the hands of local children and families, giving them an opportunity to spend time together, share knowledge and build language and vocabulary skills.
