Single vehicle collision causes extensive damage

Greater Sudbury Police are seeking public’s assistance in a single vehicle collision that occurred in the wee hours of the morning in Hanmer. 

Police are investing the collision, which took place at Bodson Drive and Notre Dame in Hanmer and resulted in about $10,000 in damage.

No injuries were reported. 

An initial investigation revealed the driver was navigating a turn when the vehicle struck a hydro pole on the west side of Notre Dame. The investigation also estimated the damages to be extensive to the property and the car was deemed a write-off. 

Further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the collision.
