Sudbury teen dines with Trudeau, Biden:

A remarkable young Sudburian attended a prestigious event last week featuring none other than Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. Vice-president Joe Biden. Mélanie-Rose Frappier, 18, attended the dinner Dec. 8 at the Sir John A. Macdonald building in Ottawa, which was held to celebrate the Canada-U.S. relationship. Former church to be turned into medical office:

A former church on Prete Street is going to be converted into a medical office after the proposal received support from the city's planning committee Monday.
Formerly home to All Nation's Church (which has moved to a new building) and a day care, the renovated facility will become home to medical specialists and other professional businesses, although the daycare centre has already moved. Sudbury.com will bring you the full story later today.

Insurance company to host art event and fundraiser:

PBL Insurance Limited will officially open their new, centralized Sudbury office at 555 Barry Downe Rd., Unit 1 in Sudbury on Dec. 13. The opening will feature a ‘performance art event’ with local abstract painter, Paddy O’Sullivan. O’Sullivan will be creating an original work of art on-site during the event.
