Snow squall watch issued for the region

Conditions mean visibility can suddenly and unexpectedly become reduced due to heavy snow

Yet another snow squall event is expected to hit the region this evening. Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for Greater Sudbury and the vicinity.

Expect periods of reduced visibility this evening, with brief but intense periods of snowfall. Visibility will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow.

Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather, Environment Canada warns. Under these conditions, visibility can suddenly and unexpectedly be reduced.
