HIV Awareness week starts by bundling up in red

Réseau ACCESS Network will be celebrating its fifth anniversary of the Bundle Up in Red campaign. The campaign marks the beginning of a week long HIV awareness program. Volunteers will be distributing red scarves throughout downtown Sudbury and at major intersections across the city to educate people about HIV.This weeks activities will align with the organizations philosophy of "Acceptance, affirmation, Assistance, Advocacy and Accountability".Check back with Sudbury.com to see what Réseau ACCESS Network has planned for this week.

Lighting the way: New Sudbury light display supports food drive

Derek Durkac is at it again, as the Durkac family festival of lights in back up and running for its 11th year. The New Sudbury resident has been decking out his home with thousands of lights and decorations for more than a decade, but more than that, this season marks the fifth time that he will be helping out the Edgar Burton Food Drive. Nostalgic Tragically Hip fan Shawn Brady tugs at your heartstrings in tribute to Gord Downie

Sudbury native Shawn Brady, a doctor by day and musician by night, has poured his heart out in a touching tribute to the lead singer and lyricist of The Tragically Hip, Gord Downie. Inspired by Downie's death from brain cancer this year and his own memories, the indie musician penned "Pretty Painted Poets" as a homage to the iconic Canadian musician. Click here to read more.
