Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Greater Sudbury and the surrounding area, with 20-40 mm of rainfall expected to begin this afternoon through late Monday.
Thunderstorms are likely to occur Sunday, with higher rainfall expected in areas that do receive thunderstorms.
Environment Canada warns that localized flooding is possible due to heavy rainfall.
