Two St. Charles College students and another from Bishop Alexander Carter Catholic Secondary School were presented with awards in an Action Sudbury Citizens Against Impaired Driving poster contest to raise awareness of impaired driving.
The students, Kyra Coutain, Violet Landrie and Emily Rowsell will soon see their posters on local billboards.
“During this experience, students developed an awareness of societal issues while learning hands-on about multi-media art and graphic design,” said St. Charles communications technology teacher, Christina Thompson, in a press release.
Action Sudbury is a non-profit community organization aimed at eliminating the tragedies caused by impaired drivers in the Greater Sudbury and surrounding areas.
