Greater Sudbury ranked 84th in MoneySense's annual list of the best places to live in Canada.
MoneySense ranked 219 municipalities across Canada, and looked at factors like unemployment levels, incomes, affordable housing, access to health care, municipal tax rates, crime rates, walkability and access to the arts and leisure.
Ottawa was ranked first in the 2016 list, and New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, was last.
Greater Sudbury was down three spots this year, compared to 2015, when it was ranked 81st.
