The company will expand an existing building by 15,000 square feet to become a “one stop” aggregate and mining outlet store. The funding will also assist in creating four new jobs.

“Since 2003, the McGuinty government has been dedicated to the well being of our community and our local economy,” Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci stated in a press release. “Through this investment, we are helping strengthen one of Sudbury's key players in our ever-growing mining equipment and services cluster and providing important new job opportunities in the city.”

Grant Aggregate and Industrial Supply Inc., a Sudbury based company, has been in operation for the past 20 years and employs roughly 40 people.
