That?s exactly what happened recently to a group of five City of Greater Sudbury garbage collectors.

The group, who has only been playing together for six months, held the sole winning ticket from the July 9, 2005 draw.

?I had no idea that we?d won, I went to the store to get the ticket checked and the store clerk went white, and so did I when I saw the amount!,? said Kevin Provincial. He, along with four co-workers, made the trip to Toronto to collect their multi-million prize from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

The group, ranging in age from 38 to 52, has various plans for the money.

Ted Hreljac plans to take a trip to Disneyland. Richard St. Martin will buy a yellow corvette. Marc Chartier will soon be driving a Hummer.

The winning LOTTO 6/49 ticket was purchased at Elm Street Kwik Way in Sudbury.
