Health Sciences North (HSN) and its affiliate, Health Sciences North Research Institute, continue to be listed as one of Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals in Canada.

The list of Top 40 Research Hospitals in Canada is compiled annually by Re$earch Infosource Inc. This year, HSN is ranked 39th, holding its position from last year. Additionally, HSN is ranked 10th in Canada for research expenditure growth with an increase of 8.7 per cent from last year.

“HSN is proud to have made the Top 40 for the past four consecutive years in a row, demonstrating the important role research plays here in Sudbury and in the North,” said Dominic Giroux, President and CEO of HSN and HSNRI. 

“I commend the team for their dedication and contributions to research over the past year as research continues to improve patient care at HSN.”
