According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices at most stations in Greater Sudbury dropped eight cents per litre yesterday to 88.7 — that's right, a Tuesday gas price drop instead of a spike. Prices were 96.7 early Tuesday morning.

This amid the continuing global slump in oil prices.

The cheapest gas in the city is now 84.6 at Circle K in Lively. The most expensive gas in the city is 99.9 at Byrnes in Azilda.

Gas costs 96.0 to 96.9 in Espanola and 86.9 to 88.9 in Sturgeon Falls.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 74.1. The cheapest gas in the province is 56.9 in Ohsweken and Hagersville. The most expensive Ontario gas listed on GasBuddy.com today is 139.9 in Windsor.
