Being John Lennon can be daunting to those unprepared for the work and the pressure.

Thanks to some education from a local modelling school to help him on the way, a former Sudbury model Arron Bell got the chance to pose as the legendary Beatle in some of Lennon's most famous pictures, in Flare magazine's April edition.

Benita Dellelce, of Charm Plus, says Flare is a major Canadian fashion magazine, so it's a pretty big deal.

"He (Arron) wasn't just a background person. He was the centre of the shots."

The model, who is six foot two, was a former client who went on to another agency.

"I feel excited for (him), because that kind of chance takes about two to three years of work," she says.

Bell, who is with Toronto's VM2 Model Agency, had a chance soon after the Flare shoot to express his excitement to Dellelce when they met at a Toronto fashion show.

Dellelce has been the owner/operator of Sudbury's Charm Plus for about 20 years and her school as well as a hair salon, esthetics and cosmetics department is located in the Supermall.

For those interested in modelling, Dellelce says, they should be prepared for the travelling lifestyle, have a proper work attitude and be able to handle rejection.

She teaches her clients confidence, grace and poise, among other things.
