Sudbury-based Real Estate Broker Ashley Sauve has been named provincial director for Northern Ontario.

The announcement was made at the Ontario Real Estate Association's annual conference on Feb. 25, 2020.

Sauve will serve a one-year term as provincial director for the Northern Ontario area on the OREA board of directors, representing realtors in the North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins, Cochrane and Timiskaming real estate boards.

“2019 was a banner year for our industry, as we were successful in advocating for higher professional standards in real estate and fostering increased engagement from our members,” Sauve said in a press release. “But the work isn’t finished yet, and I’m looking forward to continuing to push for more affordable home ownership for future generations.”

Active in the real estate profession for six years, Sauve is a broker for Re/Max Crown Realty in Sudbury. She has been a member of the Sudbury Real Estate Board since 2013.

The Ontario Real Estate Association represents 80,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 37 real estate boards throughout the province.
