The 2021 Sudbury Regional Science Fair has gone virtual this year.

The adapted ProjectBoard platform enables everyone to view the 29 regional science fair projects which were created by students from the Sudbury Catholic School Board, CSC Nouvelon, the Rainbow District School Board as well as independent students from other schools.

The Sudbury Regional Science Fair (SRSF) committee said in a press release it is proud of the hard work the students have put into their science fair projects this year.

Instead of going to a physical location to meet the participants, you can view the 2021 Sudbury Regional Science Fair projects by clicking on the links below and going to the regional fair portal at the bottom of the page. You can leave feedback for students on the website in lieu of interacting with them in person. Some students have included short videos with their projects.

Judges are currently reviewing the participants’ projects and are deliberating over the winners of various awards.

They will select the projects that will advance to the Canada Wide Science Fair, also virtual, in May.

The Sudbury Regional Science Fair award ceremony will be held online on April 18 at 7 p.m. The link will be on the SRSF website and social media feeds closer to the date.
