Sudbury Wolves on the losing side of a close 5 to 4 game while visiting Kingston Frontenacs Friday night

Wolves Kocha Delic scores his first career OHL goal to get Sudbury on the scoreboard in a close game with Kingston

Sudbury Wolves were on the road in Kingston on Friday where they took a 5 - 4 loss from the Kingston Frontenacs at the Leon's Centre, in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference in OHL action. It was the third straight loss for Sudbury.

In the first and second periods, Kingston dominated the game, scoring no less than five goals to Sudbury's one.

Jordan Frasca, scored twice for Kingston, while Martin Chromiak, Chris Thibodeau and Matthew Soto, all scored singles.

Sudbury's Kocha Delic was able to score his single goal with just over five minutes left in the first period. It was Delic's first career goal with the OHL.

By the end of the first period, the score was 4 to 1 for Kingston. The home team scored their fifth goal in the second period, making it a 5 to 1 game at that point.

In the third period, it looked like Sudbury was on a comeback roll. 

Alex Assadourian scored early in the third, making the game 5 to 2.

Then Ethan Larmand scored not once, but twice, for the Wolves, making the score 5 to 4.

There was just over two minutes left in the period, but Kingston stayed strong and kept the Wolves from scoring again.

For the stats keepers, Sudbury outshot Kingston 35-34 in the game. 

Goaltender Leevi Meriläinen took the win for Kingston. Jonathan Lemaire was in net for Sudbury.

Sudbury is scheduled to be back on the ice on Sunday October 17th when the Wolves take on the 67s in Ottawa.
