Many of the Sudbury Wolves most dedicated fans got to meet their favourite players on the ice during the team’s annual Skate with the Wolves event Sunday.
The entire team was on the ice at the Sudbury Arena Sunday afternoon where players signed autographs for young fans and posed for pictures.
“It’s good afternoon family entertainment,” said Miranda Swain, the Sudbury Wolves’ office manager.
Swain said this year was the first time the event doubled as a fundraiser for the Sudbury Food Bank’s Edgar Burton Christmas Food Drive.
Boxes were full of donated food items shortly after the players hit the ice.
