Acts of Kindness: They've been volunteering for nearly 30 years and we've got a surprise for them

Watch as we surprise these longtime volunteers with some pampering

Sudbury.com is proud to introduce 12 Days of Kindness.

Check back to Sudbury.com every weekday morning until Dec. 23 and start your day with a smile and a little kindness as the Christmas season gets into full swing. For the next 12 weekdays we're surprising 12 worthy people with a little kindness just in time for the holidays.

And we're kicking off 12 Days of Kindness with a very special couple.

Wendy McLaughlin started volunteering at the Sudbury Regional Hospital almost 30 years ago. Her husband Al joined her when he retired and together they continue to give back to the community by volunteering at the Northeast Cancer Centre twice a week.

The couple thought Sudbury.com was doing a story on volunteerism — but watch the video to see us surprise them with a little pampering.

Do you know someone who is deserving of an act of kindness? Nominate them to be Sudbury.com next Acts of Kindness recipient at Sudbury.com/AOK.
