Sudbury.com provided a livestream of the 2018 Greater Sudbury municipal election mayoral candidates' debate at College Boréal.
Organized by the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, the debate hosted 10 of the 11 candidates running for mayor, including incumbent Brian Bigger.
Questions posed by a panel made up of chamber members Ashley Sauvé, President of the Sudbury Real Estate Board, David Boyce, Vice President & Wealth Advisor, RBC Dominion Securities and Cora Demarco, Human Resources Manager at Technica Mining produced responses on a range of business-focused topics. The chamber debates – whether federal, provincial or local elections – are often the main forum for contenders to stake out their positions on a wide range of topics.
