Environment Canada has issued a winter storm watch for Greater Sudbury and the surrounding area, with 25-35 cm of snow expected to fall between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sunny skies predicted for Monday and a high of -9 C.

Prepare for a chilly start to the week, with a wind chill of -21 C in the morning warming to -16 C by the afternoon.

Clear skies expected overnight, with increasing cloudiness before Tuesday morning.

Moderate winds of up to 15 km/h will make the low of -17 C feel more like -16 C in the evening and -25 C overnight, introducing a risk of frostbite.
