A Greater Sudbury Police officer was conducing speed enforcement on Municipal Road 55 near Copper Cliff at around 12:45 p.m. April 20, when he clocked the teen driving 148 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
 
The young man had his probationary driver's licence suspended and lost the use of his vehicle for seven days.
 
If convicted of stunt driving, a driver can face the following penalties, depending on prior convictions: fines up to $10,000, six demerit points, a driver's license suspension of up to 10 years and six months in jail.
