Real Canadian Superstore Sudbury began the sale of beer last week as one of 29 additional locations across the province announced by Loblaw Companies Limited. The store stocks more than 100 beer varieties, with equal representation of Ontario’s local or craft beer and multinational brands.

The store’s addition brings the number of beer licenses for Ontario grocery stores to 121.

“Our customers shop with us for all the ingredients and flavours they need to make a great meal, and we can better serve that demand today now that beer is here,” said Ryan Campbell, Store Manager.

“Real Canadian Superstore will have a variety and selection that everyone will be excited about. With the biggest names in beer and dozens of Ontario’s local and craft brews added to the aisles, Real Canadian Superstore will be a destination for craft beer drinkers.”

The store began selling beer on April 10 and features more than 100 varieties of import, domestic and Ontario craft beer. The other 28 stores that added beer to their aisles last week included Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Zehrs, Fortinos, No Frills and Independent.
