Kick off maple syrup season with a visit to Maple Hill Farm (450 Dominion Drive, formerly the Despatie Maple Farm) and take part in family fun while experiencing the scenic landscape and get a tour of their maple syrup processes.

Guests can tour the farm, hop on some sleigh rides, experience taffy tasting and so much more from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 26, April 1 or April 2. A general admission day pass is $15 each and a general admission day pass with one sleigh ride is $20 each with four different time slots to choose from, as there is limited seating.

This event is also in support of Our Children, Our Future so monetary donations, diapers and new warm children’s clothes are gratefully accepted at the gate as well.

“We have seen such a wonderful tour response in the past, we’ve decided to add another public tour day and we would like to relay a warm thank you to the community for their continued support of Maple Hill Farm,” said owners Michel and Céline Larivière.

“The original ‘Sugar Shack’ from the Despatie Maple Farm built in 1916 is still on the property, as well as a tribute/landmark and to pique your nostalgia. Join us for a fun-filled day continuing or creating memories.”

Wagon Wheel Ranch is facilitating the sleigh rides and Boy Gorgeous Catering Co. is providing the farm fare.

Tickets can be purchased online at Eventbrite.ca.
