Thibeault takes on new critic role

Sudbury MP Glenn Thibeault has been named the small business and tourism critic in the NDP's shadow cabinet by the party's leader, Tom Mulcair.
“I am proud to serve as New Democrat critic for small business and tourism,” said Thibeault, in a press release.

“While the Conservatives are still dogged by the same old scandals, the New Democrats are focused on holding this government to account.”

Thibeault will also remain the critic for consumer affairs.

“I’m ready to take on the Conservatives on the small business and tourism file and work to ensure that these industries that are vital to our economy get the support they need,” said Thibeault.
