THROWBACK THURSDAY: Sudbury Arena and the Sudbury Wolves

We dusted off some old photos of the big barn downtown and its largest tenant, the Sudbury Wolves.

Dario Zulich has become something of a local celebrity since purchasing both the iconic water tower on Pearl Street and the Sudbury Wolves, while unveiling the True North Strong Sports and Entertainment Centre, his proposal to replace the aging Sudbury Arena with a sprawling tourism destination on the Kingsway.

But, since this series isn’t about the future, it’s about the past, we asked the Greater Sudbury Archives to dust off some old photos of the big barn downtown and its largest tenant, the Sudbury Wolves.
