Topper's Pizza Sudbury raised more than $53,000 for SickKids with a special meal deal to benefit the pediatric hospital in Toronto where thousands of Northern Ontario children must travel every year for treatment.
Sudbury Topper's Pizza franchise was involved in a record-breaking campaign that raised a total of $44,623 in 10 weeks for Toronto SickKids Foundation, almost double the amount raised last year.
In addition, the Toppazzini family matched $1 for every $5 raised, adding $8,924.60 to the grand total — which came to $53,547.60.
This brings Topper’s donation total amount up to $213,203 to SickKids Foundation since their partnership began in 2012.
