The city?s contractor is installing a sanitary sewer in the area.

Medina Lane, between Elgin and Durham Streets, will close to pedestrian and vehicular traffic for emergency repairs to a Union Gas line today from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

This Monday, Canadian Pacific Railway will perform overnight repairs to a railway crossing at MacKenzie Road, near Montpellier Road in Chelmsford, between 2 am and 8 am.

Residents are advised that repairs involving heavy equipment, including sawing and drilling, will take place along the track. Canadian Pacific Railway has been granted an exemption to the municipal noise by-law to carry out these necessary repairs.

Motorists are asked to detour the MacKenzie Road crossing via Highway 144 to Errington Avenue, Main Street W. and Montpellier Road.
