There will be possible traffic disruptions on Sunday, Jan. 15 and Tuesday, Jan. 17 in relation to the Push for Change initiative.

Both the Greater Sudbury Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police will be providing an escort to Joe Roberts and his Push for Change initiative during his visit to the City of Greater Sudbury.

Police are asking motorists to be mindful of possible traffic delays westbound along the Kingsway heading towards Downtown and southbound along Paris Street heading towards Science North on Sunday morning.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon there may be further traffic delays northbound on Paris Street as Roberts and the Push for Change initiative move from Science North to the Sudbury Arena.

Once at the arena, Roberts will be collecting non-perishable food items for the food drive portion of his initiative and he will provide information about the Push for Change Foundation at the Wolves game.

On Tuesday Jan. 17, the Greater Sudbury Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police will escort Roberts from Elm Street at Paris Street, westbound to Lorne Street and onward to the township of Worthington.

Motorists are to expect one lane to be closed and are asked to reduce their speed as they approach any emergency vehicle as required by law.
