Traffic update: Rainbow Centre work will close lane on Notre Dame

Notre Dame Avenue, Sudbury: Work by a private company at the Rainbow Centre will close the southbound curb lane on Notre Dame Avenue, at Elm Street, on Sept. 30. The west side sidewalk will also be closed on Notre Dame Avenue, between Elm Street and the side entrance doors. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Mildred Street, Sudbury: Due to ongoing sewer and watermain improvements, Mildred Street will be closed at Roger Street, on Oct. 3 to 7. Detour signs will be posted.

Regent Street, Sudbury: Excavating and pipe installation will reduce the northbound lanes on Regent Street, between Hyland Drive and Wembley Drive, on Oct. 3 to 14. A minimum of one lane will be maintained.

Once installation is complete, the road will be resurfaced. Sidewalks and curbing will also be replaced. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Barry Downe Road, Sudbury: Sidewalk and curb replacement will close the southbound curb lane on Barry Downe Road, at Lamothe Street, on Oct. 3 to 7. The lane will be closed intermittently throughout the day but will be open outside of work hours. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
