The Sudbury Wolves won 8-4 against the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday evening to start off the weekend.

This is their second win on the road with a dub from their previous game against the Petes in Peterborough on Thursday.

The night led with Quinten Musty scoring with a few minutes left of the first period. With no time to lose, David Goyette followed up with his first goal of the night – just 15 seconds from Musty’s first goal. The two set the tone for the night as Goyette found the way to the back of the net four times that evening. Musty buried two, giving him a total of seven goals for the season.

Before the period ended, the Wolves’ newly drafted Marc Boudreau managed to score a goal right on the doorstep with a nice set up from Dylan Robinson. This is Boudreau’s first goal in a Wolves uniform.

The score was rounded out by Nick DeGrazia during the second period with a deflected shot to the back of the net with an assist from Payton Robinson.

Kocha Delic showed some impressive plays aiding goals, gaining four assists that night. Evan Konyen, Dylan Robinson and Landon McCallum also added a couple of assists each. The Wolves goalie also played to the standard of the evening by saving 44 of 48 shots from Kingston.

Sitting at eighth place in the Eastern Conference Ontario Hockey League table are the Wolves. They rank 17th place overall.

The Wolves are continuing their journey on the road with a game against the 67s in Ottawa on Saturday night.
