The Christmas tree-lighting celebration at the Anderson Farm Museum in Lively is coming up this Saturday evening.
The tree-lighting ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. Dec. 10, followed by Christmas carols and songs by musical groups from Walden-area schools.
Inside the stable, you’ll find Santa Claus and NOAFEM’s Northern Maple the life-sized cow, plus free refreshments.
Inside the Granary, you’ll discover Mrs. Claus and Santa's helpers, vintage toys and woodworking projects.
Outside you can meet some volunteer firefighters and take a free ride on a horse-drawn wagon.
There'll be a winter clothing and non-perishable food collection on site.
There's no public parking at the farm, but there will be a free shuttle bus from 5-8 p.m. from the Walden Arena parking lots to the centre court of the museum.
