Two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Sudbury schools, bringing the total reported so far this school year to 28.

Rainbow District School Board says another case has been reported at Adamsdale Public School, bringing the total number of cases at the school to five. An outbreak has been reported at the school, although it remains open.

There has also been a case of COVID-19 reported at R.H. Murray Public School over the past day. That school also remains open.

The school board also reports the outbreak of COVID-19 at R.L. Beattie Public School has officially been declared over. A total of four cases of COVID-19 have been reported at that school this school year.

There have been a total of 15 cases of COVID-19 reported at Rainbow District School Board schools this school year, 11 at Sudbury Catholic District School Board schools and two at Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon schools.

Also this morning, Sudbury Student Services Consortium reports that the afternoon bus run of route L879 has been cancelled until Oct. 3 due to a COVID-19 exposure.

The bus run services R.H. Murray Public School students, with transfers for some students attending Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, Lively District Secondary School and St. James Catholic Elementary School.

As a result of a driver shortage, the morning elementary run on bus route L879 is also cancelled.
