Two more 'gray' tree frogs spotted in Sudbury

Colour-changing amphibians cropping up in different spots around the city

Last week, thanks to the help of the bluecoats at Science North, Sudbury.com was able to identify the colour-changing Eastern Gray tree frog that was hanging out near a family's hot tub.

This week, two more Sudburians have spotted the frog, but not in its natural shade of gray.

Science North bluecoat Kathryn Farr-Simon informed us that this frog can change its colour from gray to a vibrant green, and we now have some photo evidence of this, sent in by our readers.

Eric and Ashley Lemieux spotted two of the amphibians on their property recently and managed to snap photos.

Alison Green got up close and personal with one of the creatures, managing to get it to pose on her thumb for a snapshot.
