United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts celebrated the official opening of its new office, located at 957 Cambrian Heights Drive, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday.
Michael Cullen, executive director of the United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts, said the new space is larger, more accessible and more centrally located than their previous office space.
Cullen said the larger office space will allow for more training opportunities and meetings with community partners.
To help cover rent for the space, the United Way has brought in a number of small businesses to share part of the space.
“This new permanent home is about capturing the collaborative energy that is so relevant in today’s charity and non profit landscape,” Cullen said.
