Highway 144 is closed at this hour from Timmins to Gogama due to weather conditions, according to the MTO.
The road closure started at around midnight.

Environment Canada reports there is currently light snow falling in the Timmins area. A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for the area, saying 10 to 15 centimetres of snow are expected by this afternoon.
Here in the Sudbury area, periods of snow are expected beginning this morning.
