Rideshare firm Uride helped raised $10,000 to support children’s soccer organizations during the company’s Good Deeds Program on June 19.

“The Ride for a Reason initiative spotlights local children's soccer organizations, with Greater Sudbury Soccer Club scoring the goal as this month's chosen beneficiary,” the company said in a news release. “Ten per cent of all Uride fares for the day will be donated to a local charity in each of the communities [we] operate in.”

"The goal of our Good Deeds Program is to strengthen the communities we serve," said Cody Ruberto, founder and CEO of Uride. "By supporting Children's Soccer Organizations this month, we're helping empower young athletes and fostering a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship that extends beyond the soccer field."
