Nearly four out of 10 marriages in Canada will end in divorce.
It's a sad stat, according to Valleyview Community Church.
Beginning Jan. 17, the church is offering a 13-week course to teach strategies and skills to begin the process of healing from a divorce.
“If you or someone you know is going through or has endured a divorce, you know just how painful it is,” a press release from the church stated. “It is a time of intense loss and deep hurt.”
The program runs weekly on Tuesday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the church, located at 2891 Martin Rd. in Blezard Valley. A children's program for kids five to 12 runs alongside the adult program.
