Two people were injured — with one of them flown to a burn unit in Southern Ontario — after a fire at a single family home on Barrydowne Road Monday evening.
The fire was called in at 7:25 p.m., and caused severe smoke and fire damage amounting to about $300,000, according to a media release from Greater Sudbury Fire Services.
The two people injured were civilians, not firefighters. Three people were displaced by the fire.
The blaze is under investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office.
