Video: Sudbury man made it his mission to find city's best hot dog

Grant Trayner eats and ranks franks

Grant Trayner is on a mission to try as many hot dogs as Greater Sudbury can 'mustard' up.

His search for the tastiest dog began back in 2016 when he started ranking hockey arena hot dogs during his time working with the Rayside-Balfour Canadians.

Since the pandemic closed most sports facilities, Trayner decided to broaden his search to include local restaurants and chip stands in Greater Sudbury.

Sudbury.com recently met up with the hot dog connoisseur at Miss Maples chip stand on St. Jerome Street.

Watch the video to find out what he thought about their whistle dog and find out who currently holds the No. 1 position on Trayner’s top dog spot.
