Videos: We asked two questions on International Women's Day. The answers are inspiring

What is feminism to you, and when did you feel strong? The answers, here
The theme of this year's International Women's Day is #MyFeminism.

The hashtag is meant to accompany a response to this question: 'What does feminism mean to you?'

Greater Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger tried his hand at an answer, as did RBC Northern Lakes vice-president Bill Bray at the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce's International Women's Day breakfast.

The responses were enlightening during a time when women's rights, concerns and voices have come to the forefront of news coverage seemingly everywhere.

"When women and men together celebrate and share and create change in the world, that's feminism to me,” said Sandi Emden, a life coach and avid Toastmaster said.

Some pretty inspiring women shared their responses, but it was a child who stole the show. If young Emily Grace Meyer's response to the question, “When did you feel strong?” doesn't tug your heart, we don't know what will.

Everybody's got a story to tell; some will resonate more than others. This rang true when Patricia Mills, President of the NEO Kids Foundation nearly had our reporter in tears.

"I felt strong the day I realized my mother was titanium," Mills said. "I thank her tremendously for that inner strength."

Watch Mills explain what exactly made her mom 'titanium-tough' in our second video, above.
