Tax season is around the corner and United Way North East Ontario is looking for community members to help out with their volunteer income tax program.

Volunteer income tax preparers and receptionists are needed to help support community members in need. The program will run from the beginning of March to the end of April.

For the position of income tax preparer, United Way is looking for individuals who have a minimum of three years experience preparing their own income taxes. Individuals must be comfortable filing simple tax returns.

United Way is also looking for individuals who love interacting with the general public, and who are organized and reliable to take on the role of receptionist.
